I am currently getting my masters in Teaching Physics and couldn't agree with you more on all accounts. What makes a country successful is the depth of its thought. As a nation, we have perfected specialization. Personally, I believe in being a jack of all trades – in college I studied Physics and Dance. I have found enormous benefits from this combination: my dance adds creativity to my physics and my physics adds structure and insight into my dance.

I would be interested to hear more about your thoughts of the role of Physics in education. I am certain more students would be interested in studying the topic if less people communicated that physics is an elite science. I believe all students are capable if they are willing to be dedicated and creative.

So glad to hear of another teacher who's so passionate about teaching people to think, not just do!
