My reply is in response to Ruchira, Like you said, law should be the same for everyone so why is it that asians are treated differently than the us or europe citizens ? Can't there be any possible threat from them ? Don't you know abt the cases of drug trafficking by US citizens ? Furthermore, if detention of an icon like shahrukh khan seems right don't u think it would equally be justifiable to treat ur hollywood actors the same ? i neva heard Brad Pitt being detained, rather special security is arranged for such actors, not jst in US but also in countries like india. If india treats american stars jst like their own stars then why should not US do the same ?

The fact that Shahrukh Khan is associating this incident with his name or religion is beyond my understanding..Its stupid on his part to comment this way when he holds a responsible position in the society..

And why is media reacting on such a petty issue?? Americans are right in what they're doing.When it comes to the country's security, there shouldn't definitely be a compromise.The point is not how commoners are treated in India, but the law is same for everyone.

Last but not the least, Ambika Soni has given the most irresponsible statement.

Why are we just sticking such small issue when our own, APJ abdul kalam was also did the same or worse even in our country

havin grown up in subcontinent, i totally agree with the auther. Im from india and commoners in this country are treated like beggars or thieves. only rich dominate this country, they r the law they r the gov. they can buy n sell anything and anybody. this SRK got the taste of reality. good on the security of USA.
